KIDS EXCEL WITH PETS, INC. is a small, but exciting group of like minded individuals with one goal to raise funds to spay & neuter our dogs & cats. Females not spayed are at a higher risk for mammary tumors & neutering can prevent testicular cancer. Also it reduces the homeless population while increasing public awareness of the benefits a child can experience through interaction with a pet of their own. Our community outreach fundraiser programs are very rewarding and involves interaction with our local residents. Decorating our Christmas Tree at the local mall, building homemade snowmen, filling trucks with Christmas joy for children of Hurricane Helene, Lilly’s Christmas Wish toy, food, etc drive for homeless pets at the local Humane Society, Lori’s Feline Fund to spay & neuter, strays, feral & pets. Always a challenge to assist with Kids and their Pets flourishing together, living the good life.

Thank you TAPS for helping me heal. Your support during a difficult period was very helpful. Meeting other survivors who understood the loss we all shared was beyond helpful. For me TAPS provided a healing balm to a very sore wound. Once again, thank you TAPS for all your help and healing.

I was looking for a way to help students with limited financial resources to have an opportunity for music education. I searched out MusicLink and loved everything I read about it. Quickly, I registered to teach and have found it very rewarding to see students and families who appreciate and benefit from the opportunity. So many good learnings come from playing instruments and the sense of accomplishment in students reinforces all that MusicLink does. Thank you MusicLink!

ZERO provides mentoring for newly diagnosed men, hosts 5k races that encourages fitness, provides info booths, and PSA testing. They have an Annual Summit in DC for PCa victims and caregivers with info sessions, a get together party, and a trip to get support for PCa funds and legislation on the Hill. I've raised $1000s for them via the 5ks and 4 NYC marathons that I completed. I won a Bold for Blue award for my PCa advocacy. PFSE is a fantastic organization. I love that they offer so many hands-on resources and activities and provide food safety curricula for all ages. The MythBusters page is my favorite resource to use when educating adults, and it is extremely helpful that this resource offers the information in Spanish.

I was discharged from the navy as Honorable/disabled in 1965, but for some unknown reason they rated my disability as a 0% I had suffered a brain injury. Due to the way they wrote up my discharge, I was denied all VA benefits. However, The Blinded Veterans took up my case a few years ago and today I am rated at 95% disabled an have full medical and disability funding! They took my case even though it was very complicated and has taken many claims and claim reviews.. in fact they are still working to get me at !00%<br>This is special because every other lawyer and group had refused to help me due to the complexity of my case. In addition, because of their efforts my spouse will be better cared for if I die. they are awesome.

World Cancer Research Fund/American Institute for Cancer Research (WCRF/AICR) appears to be a very clever scam. They produce a report every 10 years that basically just takes other people study data and then words it in a way that could make many think that they were somehow involved in the original research. They use their own slightly different criteria to then review the data, but this effort offers nothing to the original research conclusions. All it does is try to make this organisation appear to be legitimate in its analysis. People would be better served going directly to the original research and not reading this groups re-hashing of their data. WCRF/AICR, two organisations? Or maybe the one organisation trying to sound more broad and comprehensive. Alarm bells are ringing over their tactics

This daycare is terrible. My child has had so many set backs and regressions specifically because of the care, or lack there of, that she received here. The teachers in the older 2's are untrained and unprofessional. Kids sitting in "timeout" for hours. Other kids that were forced to "wait" for the restroom until they pee themselves. 10/10 waiting for a lawsuit

James House is an accredited nonprofit organization helping people affected by sexual violence, domestic violence, and stalking. The James House staff, Mrs. Jane Clayboure has volunteered at Riverside Regional Jail for 13 years. In those years of service, Mrs. Jane Clayborne facilitated sexual and domestic violence support groups and counseling. She is a very professional and takes pride in helping those she serves. She was always willing to assist where she was needed.

211 Los Angeles aka United Way, exposed me to sex trafficking. I called 211 Los Angeles for the augmented winter shelter program. They sent me to the Casa Bell motel in Inglewood, California and the hotel manager said he had no idea what I was talking about. Then they sent me to the Studio 6 located at 525 S. Harbor Blvd in San Pedro. I was in room 108 and the hotel manager sends multiple men to my room. I didn't answer the door. The next day the motel owner tells 211 Los Angeles that I cancelled my room. Center in the Square is an awesome place to go to make memories. There is a children's museum, pinball museum, arcade, and other museums AND the ocean exhibits and rooftop exhibits are FREE to enjoy!

The Shenandoah Valley Music Festival is an integral part is our family’s history. It is multigenerational. My son was five years d when we started attending, he is now 43. My 12 year old grandson currently excels in music, playing piano, mandolin, banjo, guitar, and trumpet. In large part his early exposure to the SVMF is responsible! The grounds, the quality of music, and extraordinary production combine to make this summer musical a necessary family tradition. The SVMF is not only a treasured asset to the Shenandoah Valley community, but one for the entire mid-Atlantic region!!

This organization is a disaster. It does great work despite it's arrogant executive director, who is never on time and takes volunteers and staff for granted. Poorly managed. The Executive Director treats staff and volunteers poorly.

I've volunteered there for more than 2 years and they joy and relief that they provide to clients is outstanding. Additionally, the volunteers provide a sense of community in a clean, organized environment and enjoy helping, and continue to come back because of this.

REAPERS is genuine in reaching souls, they reach out to others in need both spiritually, emotionally and financially. I have truly benefitted from the services and I have grown tremendously in my walk with Christ because of REAPERS. The Leaders focus on wholeness and they do it while demonstrating empathy and compassion. If you truly want transformation you will be transformed. There are opportunities to serve and bless others in the process.

In reading the previous reviews, it is clear this organization threatens the extreme, radical left. The American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) supports U.S. Constitutional founding principles of free markets, state's rights, and protections to assure limited federal government overreach. Those of us who fervently support individual and state's rights under the Constitution are neither extremists nor fringe. However, most conservatives are quiet, hardworking, family oriented individuals. We believe in liberty, personal responsibility, structure, and the rule of law (which includes the process of establishing, enacting, and enforcing our laws). Organizations such as ALEC perform the necessary task of holding the federal government to its constitutional restrictions and assuring the state’s rights. <br> <br>In response to CautiousDonor, from the IRS… <br>“A tax-exempt organization is generally not required to disclose publicly the names or addresses of its contributors set forth on its annual return, including Schedule B (Form 990, 990-EZ, or 990-PF). The regulations specifically exclude the name and address of any contributor to the organization from the definition of disclosable documents.” <br> <br>Although 501(c)(3)s are required to REPORT donor information by filing a Schedule B with the IRS, they are NOT required to PUBLISH the information to the public. So, your suggestion of wrongdoing or secrecy by ALEC could be due to ignorance or laziness. However, it is probably more accurately a purposeful attempt to deceive. <br> <br>One last comment. It seems rather dishonest to rate a non-profit 501(c)(3) negatively based solely on a difference of ideology and public policy debates. The rating should be reflective of the organization’s use of donor funds. If you did not donate because you assume you completely disagree with ALEC, then you have no legitimate reason to rate the organization. <br> <br>Just keeping it clear and real.

One of the most caring, compassionate and dedicated groups of people, from care at the Shelter to locating and placing lost/unwanted animals in new homes. I personally have experienced their assistance, their communication letting you know, their gratitude for donations of any type supplies or money-they are blessed, and a blessing to the Lord's animals. This is a wonderful organization with wonderful people! Run much more like a professional theatre than a community theatre. Almost every show is above average and the sets are always a high point.

I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. <br> <br>I contacted the American Diabetes Association's Atlanta, GA office several times and they never return phonecalls. In addition, I've visited the American Diabetes Association's website to learn more about how they conduct medical research, and there is no transparency there. I really don't understand how they're able to accomplish this as a non-profit and why they do not share what clinical trials they're supporting on the website. It's a mystery to me. <br> <br>I don't really care for the American Diabetes Association because everything they claim to do always turns out to be absolutely nothing when you get down to the bottom of it. I think that when they claimed to provide financial assistance and misled me, it really upset me. They sent a packet of information but it wasn't really financial assistance. I would never give anything personally to the American Diabetes Association. I think they're full of it.
