I have consecutively sponsored two Unbound participants from Guatemala from early childhood until they completed their goals and left the program. The personal connection Unbound actively fosters was very meaningful to me. Being involved with Unbound for over 25 years, I have gained the utmost confidence in their effectiveness, integrity, and dedication to helping marginalized populations around the world find a place and contribute to their societies.

Ty wheeler was my lawyer on a contempt charge for several years till my c.s ran its course.he far exceeded my expectations.was always very professional and polite.did a very good job for me.never had any problems with him.would definately recommend without hesitation.thank you!!!

My experience at this shelter was extremely frustrating because of several unprofessional employees. Peggy a members were rude, dismissive, and difficult to communicate with. Instead of feeling supported, I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. I would not recommend this shelter unless major improvements are made in staff conduct and professionalism. I noticed behavior involving donated items that I found concerning and unprofessional. In my opinion, the shelter should improve transparency and supervision regarding how donations are distributed and handled by Peggy a staff .I was very concerned by behavior from Peggy a staff members that felt retaliatory toward both a client and another staff member. Instead of handling conflicts professionally, the situation appeared to involve hostility, gossip, and actions that created an uncomfortable and unhealthy environment. Shelters should be focused on support, fairness, and professionalism, and I hope management takes these concerns seriously.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Absolutely the most uneducated, most unprofessional people I’ve dealt with trying to run a business. If you donate to this place think again because the people running it are unorganized and are likely taking your money for themselves! I could write a book about their ignorant and unethical practices I’ve wasted enough time with these people just take my word for it they are a joke!!! Kicking people out saying it’s not long term housing when they have no where to go because they lost social security checks sent to their address. Then kick someone out for “fighting” almost exactly 90 days after they said a resident had 90 days to get out. The Mission kicking someone out when he is disabled and it is due to their own negligence or mishandling. Why would you donate to a place that isn’t supporting the true meaning of rescue mission? Find a better organization that follows the values of actually helping people!

My company participates in the Heartstrings goody delivery program, where employees with intellectual and developmental disabilities come by weekly to sell us their snacks and heartfully made items. This is one of the highlights of the week for our associates, as the employees bring such joy to us all. Heartstrings Community Foundation provides their employees with a sense of pride, and belonging, as they earn hourly wages based on their contributions while learning transferable job skills, building confidence, and developing independence. My fondness of the organization and it's employees led me to becoming a Board Member to further support this cause.

Great supporter of children in the community. They help with clothing and scholarships and mentors. Most of the funds are raised in the ALW Thrift Shop that is operated by the volunteers.

I want to shine a light on the Andeel Teacher Literacy Institute, which falls under the Phillips Fundamental Learning Center umbrella. The goal of ATLI is to give public & private school teachers, moms & dads, grandparents & homeschool parents the tools to help people of any age learn how to read. They offer many different classes, which I have personally attended. The learned skills are able to be put into practice immediately with students. One of the things I love the most that they offer is an ongoing mentor/mentee relationship, pairing up anyone who takes our training with a mentor, so any questions that might come up after the initial training are able to be answered right away, and the work of teaching students to read can continue without missing a beat. Any of the classes offered through ATLI teach skills that can greatly benefit struggling readers inside as well as outside of the classroom, and I highly recommend the training they offer.

It has been a joy to work with LSY's leadership on several projects this year. It is clear they have what it takes to run high-quality programs that can truly transform lives. Our community is lucky to have LSY, and I would love to see them expand.

A friend told me about Beak N Wings 4 years ago. Unfortunately, it was after I had purchased my first bird at a bird fair. But since then I visit Beak N Wings every chance I get. I’ve purchased a large cage and multiple bowls from them. And when I can I donate pellets and toys. We are very lucky to have them.

I’ve been a volunteer with Veterans Without Orders for nine years, and the impact this organization has had on me—both as a veteran and as a person—has been immeasurable. VWO has given me a way to stay connected to a community I deeply value while continuing to contribute to a mission greater than myself. Serving alongside other veterans has reminded me of the purpose, camaraderie, and sense of service that defined my time in uniform. And witnessing the impact firsthand—on the veterans who find renewed meaning through these missions and on the communities we serve—has been incredibly rewarding. From WASH programs to disaster response efforts, the work VWO leads is not only effective but deeply human. Volunteering with this team has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my post-military life, and I’m proud to continue supporting their mission year after year.

What a phenomenal program! My child received really fun, popular, age-appropriate books every month until he turned 5. We received 60 books for free! They were really good quality, sturdy books. Board books when he was a baby and then the books when he was older had family literacy tips in the cover that taught me how to read this specific book to my child! It was a wonderful experience and my child has a large home library. We looked forward to getting the books every month and I wish it could have gone on forever!

SWEL is an incredible collection of men and women dedicated to an incredibly important cause. I’ve had the privilege of volunteering at a number of their events and surf missions in Huntington Beach and I’ve seen first hand the healing power of their guided surf lessons. I’ve witnessed how participants are finally able to uncoil and de-stress over a community meal. I’ve watched the power of the ocean overtake them and wash away whatever trauma they are carrying on their shoulders. SWEL missions are more than just a respite, they teach valuable lessons for stress management and form meaningful and long-lasting relationships between participants, volunteers, and members of the organization. It is truly a first class organization run by people with their hearts in the right and only the right place, and I urge everybody to contribute in any way you can to help make these missions possible and continue helping veterans and first responders in this unique and powerful way.

Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge offers so much, to animals and guests alike. <br>This is a forever home to abused and neglected wild animals who have endured unthinkable pasts. Habitats are spacious and welcoming, with soft grass to run in, benches to relax on, swimming pools, climate controlled dens, and enrichment to stimulate the senses and encourage socialization and natural instincts. Animals receive specialized veterinary care, individually tailored nutritious diets and supplements, as well as operant conditioning. Each animal's needs are a top priority. The animals are happy and healthy, and can often be seen interacting with each other, running together along the fence line and stalking from behind trees and swimming pools. Staff are dedicated to the well being of the animals in their charge. The transformations seen in the animals are amazing, as they learn how to trust, and be loved. <br>Tours are informative, and tell amazing stories of rescue to refuge. It's impossible not to fall in love with these beautiful souls. Every visit is an educational experience, opening eyes and minds to the exotic cat crisis, and offering opportunities to advocate and be a voice for captive wild animals. <br>Nestled in the Arkansas Ozark Mountains, TCWR is an oasis for their 120+ residents, as well as guests. Lodging options are amazing! There is nothing quite like sitting on your front porch and watching tigers play, and listening to lions carol. Where else can you look out your bedroom window and see a tiger? <br>This is a beautiful true sanctuary, where healing takes place, in so many ways.

We are so happy to have (L>R in pic) Maple & Otto join our family! The inquiry and adoption process were amazingly complete and caring, being sure to assess the likelihood of a good match for everyone. We truly appreciate that the AADR volunteers took the time to do this. Even more amazing was "Gotcha Day". Otto was a 4-hour drive which we insisted on doing and Maple was an all day transport with so many 1-hour legs filled by capable and caring volunteers. While we have had wonderful dachshunds in the past, we had never adopted rescue dogs. The coaching and follow-up help are appreciated. Thanks to this great organization!!

Pawsitive Tails is a fantastic organization. We have had our sweet Miss Millie now for 3 weeks, and our experience with Pawsitive Tails far exceeded our expectations. Crystal was in contact with us about finding our forever furry friend. Miss Millie was in pretty bad shape, but with the loving care of our fantastic Foster Mom, Megan, Millie came to us healthy and happy. Megan kept us informed about Millie's health the entire time Millie was with her. Our family cannot express enough of our gratitude to Crystal and Megan for all they have done for Millie and for all the pets they help find forever homes.

I have a friend who had their social security check redirected to the payee services of Freedom Payee Service while receiving services from Grand Mental Health. He did not knowingly authorize this appointment and had been managing his money effectively. He has to justify every purchase he makes (groceries, clothing, etc) and send receipts so that he can spend his own money. Sometimes Anthony does not approve of different miscellaneous purchases. No competent adult should be treated this way. <br><br>John E

We Adopted Zander from you almost 3 years ago and I just wanted to give you an update. After a while we realized that his favorite thing in the world is a ball and he loves playing catch but he doesn't like giving the ball back he will drop it but not hand it to you. We'll he owns probably a dozen balls right now and we take him outside a few times a day and throw a ball anywhere from 10 to maybe 20 times (unless it's too hot then we adjust) I thought that you might like to see a little video of Zander playing catch in his fenced in yard. I've been doing volunteer work with KCU for just over 10 years now and each year they just get better and better as we try to reach as many kids as possible in the community that may not otherwise have the opportunity to be involved in things that help to expand their minds, as well as promote a healthy lifestyle. I don't personally have any kids involved in the program; however, it takes a village, and KC United is that village and although it's just for a few hours a day one day a week on the sports side of it the kids feel special, they feel accomplished, they are challenged to give their best , do their best and look their best because that is all a part of molding them into being amazing youth who will later be amazing adults and will be our future leaders.

My name is Marjani Jordan, 28, currently graduating in a couple of weeks from Culinary school, I'm a single parent of two, boy and girl in that order. I am a domestic violence survivor, supporting my children on my own and I'm so blessed for ASPSF for granting me with previous scholarships. They are really nice and helpful when it comes to attending workshops, leaves you with great advice on life as a single parent, and this nonprofit organization has really helped me along the way to achieve my future, Thank you!

This small, all-volunteer nonprofit is doing HUGE work to care for injured and displaced wildlife! I stopped in to drop off baby bunnies whose nest I overturned with my lawnmower. These animals, common as they are, were not turned away, but taken care of to be released. As I was walking in with my basket of bunnies a man was returning with animals he had been sharing with children and families at a local library. The impact of this organization is enormous, as are the hearts of its volunteers.

As Child Protective Services in Newton Co Arkansas I've never seen a more dysfunctional group of women when they had their convention. True stepford wives walking in a co dependent haze worshipping a dead ghost who raped his own mother to father himself

Simply Hygiene serves the Greater Wichita Area in a very impactful way. The organization gives dignity back to those in need by providing hygiene products that families would otherwise go without. Simply Hygiene is constantly asking the question what more can we do by adding a new partner to assist or a new product that families need. D'zz Spot Reptarium and Educational Center Inc is a 501c3 non-profit organization that is all about conservation, education and respect for exotic pets and wildlife.<br><br>Our mission is simple, to Educate the Public about the importance of all creatures, teach Respect not Fear of Reptiles, Bees, Bats and Promote Conservation We believe that education is the key to making a real difference. Also Rescue the unwanted or injured Reptiles.<br> A large percentage of people are afraid of snakes, and we hope to change that through education.
