The BE Program has helped me grow both personally and professionally. Through the program, I improved my communication skills, especially speaking English with more confidence. I also learned how to prepare for job interviews, present myself professionally, and answer interview questions effectively. In addition, the program strengthened my teamwork, problem-solving, time management, and leadership skills. One of the most valuable lessons I learned was to have a growth mindset by seeing mistakes as opportunities to learn and improve. Because of the BE Program, I now feel more confident in pursuing my career goals and taking on new challenges. I am grateful for the knowledge and practical skills I gained, and I plan to use them to support my personal development while also sharing what I have learned with other young people in my community.

I am currently doing community service with the people foundation and they are amazing. Not only am I doing community service but I am learning about myself and how to be a better, more honest, more successful healthier person. I will definitely recommend the people foundation to friends and family!

Wow! Eden’s Song Ministry is a beautiful example of what it looks like to truly serve those who are serving others. What began as a simple “yes” to God has grown into a global ministry that meets real, practical needs while never losing sight of the heart of the Gospel. What sets Eden’s Song apart is their deep care for both missionaries and the communities they serve. Eden’s Song is not only impacting lives around the world, but also setting an example of what it means to serve with excellence, humility, and obedience to God. I am incredibly grateful for their work and highly recommend supporting or partnering with this ministry. Their impact is real, lasting, and deeply inspiring.

IVC provides an opportunity for myself and the client. It is a benefit to me because I am not able to do physical things to help people out, and helping people is a gift that I can not receive in any other way.<br>I believe this service is especially great because we can take them to their appointments, wait for them so they feel secure that someone will be there to take them home and if they are going somewhere to purchase merchandise we are able to take all their packages. This service gives them a sense of more independence and shows that someone cares. I believe that IVC is an essential service.

As a child, I was a program participant in the Y's before and after school and summer programs. Thanks to the gifts of their wonderful donors, I attended tuition-free - and was taught values and healthy coping skills that I would've never had the chance to learn in my home situation. Now I do my best to routinely support the company whenever I can! The culture of staff also seems very tight-knit and supportive, and every time I go into one of their facilities it really feels like all of the staff understand and connect to the values of the non-profit.

I have adopted volunteered, adopted, and fostered cats and dogs from the Idaho Humane Society since the 1980s. It is a wonderful caring organization whose mission is to help all animals find loving homes. One of their volunteer services provides pet food each month to owners of cats and dogs who are eligible for Meals on Wheels. This makes it possible for people to keep their beloved pets. Foster homes provide care for dogs and cats who need some extra TLC or are recovering from surgery. IHS does a great job reuniting lost pets with owners.

The Children's Home has been a great resource for our Family.

Our son was diagnosed before his first birthday - over 10 years ago. Not long after diagnoses we found this organization and have been so thankful to have access to their resources and community. Through them we have been able to meet other families who understand the journey of a rare medical condition and have been able to have informed conversations with our son's medical team. Out of a immense appreciation for the organization I have been volunteering as a member of their Board of Directors for the past 5 years and have seen how much genuine care and hard work goes into running Hope for HH. The volunteers are passionate, dedicated, and truly care about improving the lives of our community.

This is a great place! I have been able to visit alone and with friends to show them the value that Orphan Acres offers. I have also traveled with Backyard Harvest to harvest some of their fruit trees for those in need around our community. The owner has taken time to show me the grounds and all the horses, as well as others that I have brought to let them explore the wonderful acreage and non-profit organization! I also introduced a horse lover from another country to help unload donated hay to feed the pasture horses. I try to get out there as often as I can because I love it out there and what they do.

I have been volunteering with TWB for the last few months and am delighted by the organisation, professionalism, variety of topics and tasks that come up. It's a great way to help make the world of humanitarian action linguistically more inclusive and accessible. I also really appreciate the measures they undertake to ensure all volunteers can show proof of their activity and their courses to improve quality and the qualifications of the translators.

As part of the Laini Fluellen Charity and as a nursing professor, we have been using Know Your Lemons to educate our community about breast cancer awareness. We have reached over 700+ people in our community and beyond using these valuable resources.

Currently a client for well balanced through probation and parole. Have literally thousands in my amount but can’t get any money approved for my basic needs. They can’t even give me 34$ for diapers for my infant son. They “forget” and say next week for almost a whole month now. I get only 60$ a week for food which in this economy is essentially nothing. I have no idea why I’m not allowed access to my funds when there is more than enough and I have a full time job with a steady income. If you aren’t required to go here by law I would highly discourage you from doing so unless you want to beg and plead for your own money to just try to feed and clothe yourself or your children.

Last weekend I had the incredible opportunity to go on a three-day rafting trip on the Salmon River. I can't say enough about this experience. The participants & crew that River Discovery brought together were a phenomenal group of humans - super inspirational, kind, strong & adventurous. Strangers quickly became friends, cheering each other on through rapids, cliff jumping, baby snake wrangling & sleeping under the stars w/ spider buddies. Mountain River Outfitters gave us the best guides, the hardest working, the most genuine, the most fun 4 you could ask for (thanks Darin, Tyler, Ainsley & Nick!). Three days felt like so much longer in the best way

Bought two items on their EBay store and emailed them for a combined shipping charge since both shipping charges for each item was being billed on the invoice. Never received a response or combined shipping charge invoice from them. In waiting for correct invoice they closed my items for nonpayment which makes a bad mark on my account. Since I won the items at a low cost I’m assuming they were expecting the items would generate a higher price so they didn’t want to honor my winning bids. So if you shop their EBay store you may not get your item because your won price may not be what they expect the item to bring. So they will close the item and then relist it hoping this time the item gets the price they expect. Beware this EBay seller!!!!!!!

As a foster family for over 5 years and 26 total fosters, the president, put my own dogs at risk with heartworm. After finding out our foster was HW+ two weeks after his neuter from another foster, there was no apology and no offer to pay for the vet bill. After that, communication pretty much stopped. She never once checked on our foster during his horrendous treatment. After 2 potential adopters reached out to me about him, we found out that the adoption coordinator and the president stopped communication with them. When I called her out for it, she sent her two minions to pick up our foster. She didn't have the guts to do it herself. Now, for the inside information, the president pulls too many dogs without the guarantee of a foster placement. I've seen 20+ dogs from one transport without a place to go. She then begs FB for fosters. She keeps the pups in transport kennels for too many hours while she tries to rotate dogs. Usually, they're covered in feces and urine. This rescue has been investigated many times by authorities and was banned at one point from pulling dogs at certain shelters in Texas and New Mexico. We will never foster, provide endorsement, donate, etc. to this rescue. It needs to be shut down or turned over to someone who wants to really help.

Furry Farm gave my dog (Hobbs) a soft spot to recover after he was found wandering down the road and was impounded by animal control. He was skinny, had a dislocated hip, and I’m sure he was scared. They took excellent care of him while he recovered and had no shortage of love! They were thorough with the adoption process and it was very obvious how much they cared about him and our experience with him. They continue to check in on us and are so supportive. Hobbs is now happy and healthy and I am so thankful for Furry Farm Rescue!

Not Your Average Thrift Shop! <br> <br>The Assistance League runs an exceptional thrift shop. Clean. Well organized and offers great fashion finds! And the funds go to support the many Ada County programs they provide from Bright Beginnings to Operation School and Hy Hopes, and so many more. Truly a great impact on our community. Staff are friendly and professional and genuinely care for the clients served and the community.

Forever, grateful for this organization, and the support it has brought our son who was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma at age 3 and his siblings. <br>It has continue to provide support and engaging activities through monthly meet ups and camps in the summer. <br>It was a dark time for our other children during the cancer treatment but CGR created a safe environment for our children to express their grief while having an amazing experience to look forward to every year. <br>Thank you, Camp Rainbow Gold

My week-long adventure in Alaska with five fellow veterans was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in the breathtaking beauty of the Alaskan outdoors. <br> <br>Our fishing expeditions for salmon and halibut were exhilarating, and the thrill of catching these magnificent fish in the pristine waters of Alaska was unforgettable. Flying in a sea plane to access remote fishing spots and witness awe-inspiring glacier views added an extra layer of excitement to our journey. <br> <br>The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the bear watching experience, where we observed these majestic creatures feasting on salmon in their natural habitat. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that left us all in awe. <br> <br>Our accommodations in the cozy cabins provided by the Fish Magnet and HAVE Alaska partners were comfortable and allowed us to immerse ourselves in the wilderness while still enjoying modern conveniences. The food was exceptional, with delicious meals prepared by dedicated volunteers who ensured we never went hungry. <br> <br>Throughout our adventure, we were treated to the sight of moose and surrounded by jaw-dropping views of Alaska's pristine landscapes. This experience was made possible by the incredible teamwork of the organizers and volunteers who went above and beyond to make our trip truly memorable. <br> <br>In summary, my week in Alaska with these outstanding individuals, the incredible wildlife, and the stunning scenery was an adventure of a lifetime. I can't thank the organizers, volunteers, and partners enough for providing us with this once-in-a-lifetime experience. It's a journey I will cherish forever.

I have never seen such dedication as I have seen in the few years that I have been supporting Operation Community Cats. They go beyond in everything they do for the cat community in trying to give them a better life. Always willing to listen, always willing to help in anyway possible, always with the cats in their minds and in their hearts. If there is a way they will find it, they support not only the cats but the people trying to take care of the cats. They help with not only Spay and Neuter, they help with food for the colony feeders as well. I commend them in their quest for a low cost spay and neuter clinic, a place that all can afford in order to reduce the population of unwanted cats and save them from a lifetime of suffering and misery. A worthy cause to support if you can!

I frequent the Habitat for Humanity in search of pieces and parts to make my artwork and chess sets. The staff there is wonderful, friendly, and very helpful. It's one of my definite go to places! <br>Sherri B. with Wut-i-c Creations
