Preservation organization formed in 2015 by a Farm Preservationist and former farmer of Patterson Farm, a Patterson family member, and experienced restorationists and volunteers concerned for the future of agriculture, heritage and wildlife habitat. <br> <br>The Patterson Farm Preservation group have been staunch advocates for the preservation of the municipal-owned Patterson Farm in Bucks County, PA, lobbying for and achieving a farmland preservation covenant protecting over 100 acres of Patterson Farm. <br> <br>Through steadfast determination we've kept the preservation of Patterson Farm in the news and on the minds of elected officials. We were successful in raising statewide awareness in 2021 for the farms preservation by achieving its inclusion on Preservation Pennsylvania's coveted At-Risk List. <br> <br>We are leading the Patterson Farm 350 initiative to responsibly restore Patterson Farm in time to celebrate the 350th anniversary of its founding, which will occur in 2033. We seek permission from the governing body to occupy historic Satterthwaite House as our Headquarters and home of the Patterson Agriculture & Heritage Center, a tribute to the farms' former owners, Thomas & Alice Patterson. <br> <br>Founded in 1683 by Quaker preacher Thomas Janney, Patterson Farm is comprised of the finest agricultural soils in the Commonwealth, has been a source of locally grown food since its founding, is a National Register eligible property, and hosts a wide variety of wildlife species. It is farmed by 5th generation, award winning Bucks County farmers who practice sustainable farming techniques.

National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc. founded in 1923 is an organization that supports education, educational pursuits and youth. . Pi Chapter of Trenton was the sixteenth chapter chartered by June, 1933. Pi is celebrating 81 years of service to the central New Jersey area. Pi Chapter vows to continue to uplift dedicated educators, promote the highest ideals of the teaching profession and encourage youth to attain higher levels of education and develop strong character. <br> <br> Pi Chapter is most proud of our education and community work in the areas of: Youth Guidance Groups; our Xinos (girls) and Kudos (Boys) in grades 9-12, PiLites-Children/grandchildren of Pi members-0 age to grade 8, Praxis Study/Review Classes for incoming teachers (National Teacher Exam), Scholarship Awards, Book Awards, and Educational Grants and Community Health and Wellness Seminars. <br> <br>Involvement in Activities include: Black History Celebrations, Adopt-A-Family/Adopt-A-School, Donations to Homeless, Make-A-Difference Day, Annual Back to School Materials Give-Away, *Teach-A-Rama Youth Conference, Trenton YMCA Partnership, Schools recognition for American Education Week and *Call to Action (to address social needs/issues). <br> <br>Pi Chapter contributes to community centers, Reading Rooms, many community organizations including religious and charitable institutions. Members of the chapter have spent decades seeking new and better ways to contribute to educational and worthwhile causes and to demonstrate commitment to creating a better environment for all. National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc.-- Pi Chapter continues, 81 years later, working to contribute because we truly believe the phrase: “Education: (is) Everybody’s Business”. <br>
