My experience as an intern at Udayan Care was both insightful and meaningful. The organization is deeply committed to improving the lives of vulnerable children, youth, and women through a variety of programs focused on education, care, empowerment, and social development. During my internship, I had the opportunity to gain exposure to the nonprofit sector and understand how social impact initiatives are planned and implemented. The work environment was professional, and I appreciated being part of an organization that is driven by a clear mission and a genuine desire to create positive change. What stood out most was Udayan Care's holistic approach to development, focusing not only on immediate support but also on long-term empowerment and self-reliance. The experience helped me develop a greater understanding of social issues and strengthened my interest in community development and nonprofit work.

My experience here at M.N.D has been nothing short or great. I came into this program really not wanting to do it, however my decision shifted immediately. As the course of the week went on, amd we moved quickly, I began to realize how much they were building me up to become a strong speaker in front t of an audience and work well with people I didn't know at 1st, but became a small Luke family. As a volunteer with Marley's Mutts I am able to see first hand how dedicated this organization is to helping animals. The entire staff is passionate, conscientious, and diligent in their efforts to provide loving homes to the animals in their care. It is inspiring to be a volunteer for them and see how devoted they are to what they do.

Vets In Tech provided a great opportunity to learn valuable IT and cybersecurity skills while preparing for industry certifications. The instructors were knowledgeable, supportive, and committed to helping students succeed. My only suggestion would be to extend the program timeline, as covering A+, Network+, and Security+ in one month can feel rushed. Overall, I would recommend this program to veterans and military spouses looking to start or advance a career in technology.

Nonpareil is a welcoming and safe space for adults with autism and their families.

I attended the 1-day Six Sigma Yellow Belt training session. The training far exceeded my expectations. It was hands-on training with expert instruction. Russell Levy was the instructor and he added informative stories from his real-life experiences to show how various techniques are used. This was one of the best training courses I've ever attended.

Honor Society is a fantastic organization for people who are a part of a college/university. Not only has this organization offered me (and others) several scholarship opportunities, but they also have actually rewarded me with a legitimate scholarship.

Crisis Aid has been a great beacon of home both nationally and internationally. I've had the opportunity to support the agency, and I believe it to be a rewarding experience. Their dedication to providing aid to those in crisis is commendable. Crisis Aid's work is impactful and evident. I would recommend Crisis Aid to anyone who wants to make an impact, anyone who is looking for support, or looking to make a difference.

The founder, director, and board are incredible. Sarah Symons, the founder, has dedicated the last 20 years of her life doing her part to combat human trafficking and walk alongside victims in India and Nepal.

Genesis Joy House is truly an outstanding organization, and I am so grateful for the vital work they do. As the only all-women veteran homeless shelter in Georgia, they provide a safe, supportive environment for women who have served our country and are experiencing homelessness. The staff is compassionate, professional, and deeply committed to helping these women rebuild their lives.<br><br>The shelter offers not only a place to stay but also a range of programs designed to empower and uplift these veterans. From housing and job support to emotional care and guidance, Genesis Joy House is a beacon of hope and a true lifeline for many women in need.<br><br>I highly recommend Genesis Joy House for the incredible difference they make in the lives of our female veterans.

As a second-year college student with no financial means to pay for college education or ideal schedule to go to school full-time (second job, taking care of younger siblings due to full-time working parents), JobTrain gave me the means to achieve my academic goals in a manageable schedule and work-load. We learned new units everyday in a manner that worked for my learning-style— reading AND hands-on that was alternated perfectly. I now work a stable job and have access to educational resources within my job as a Medical Assistant/Patient Care Coordinator that I never could have imagined. Thank you!!

During my field visit to slum and street areas i observed more issues like poverty, lack of basic facilities, no sanitation, no water supply, no electricity, no school going, dropout, child marriage, child labour, sexual abuse etc. One of best NGO i ever seen in india ... They keep dignity and truthness.... Thanku RSKS for this great opportunity... My 30- day Internship at RSKS was a valuable learning experience... I was originally referred to the JCA by a friend. I had been recently laid off and was seeking not just another job, but also guidance on the current landscape of job seeking and how to possibly pivot my career. I heard about the Career Gateway Program while virtually attending one of JCA's job fairs and immediately reached out to Jodie Rasch to get signed up. I cannot say enough about this outstanding 5-day workshop and the facilitator Dr. Elise Barnes! It exceeded all of my expectations, not just in terms of excellent content, but also in terms of community. I am a proud graduate of the Career Gateway Program and I have also completed the LinkedIn and PowerPoint training courses. I am now working with a career mentor who was assigned to me after I completed the Program (another WONDERFUL benefit of the Program). JCA is an EXCELLENT resource to the 50+ community and I cannot stop singing its praises.

Thanks to the generosity of donors and sponsors, the center has made a significant impact through its comprehensive range of services.<br>The center has provided over 11,000 hours of individual personal counseling through its Soundings, Jumpstart, and Room To Talk programs. These sessions offer crucial support for those navigating personal challenges and seeking emotional well-being.<br>Over 70 sessions of free divorce education and support helps women cope with the loss of long-term relationships. This program is invaluable for those in need of guidance and emotional support during such a difficult transition.<br>The center has conducted 155 sessions of affordable career and financial coaching, empowering individuals and families to regain stability and move forward with confidence. These sessions are essential for those looking to rebuild their lives and achieve financial independence.<br>The 51 MomShare support group sessions provided at no charge are a lifeline for new moms. These groups help build parenting skills and reduce social isolation, fostering a supportive community for mothers.<br>The front desk staff has responded to over 1,200 calls, answering questions and connecting people with the resources they need. This service ensures that individuals receive timely and accurate information, further enhancing the center's support network.<br>Overall, The Women's Center of Southeast Michigan stands out for its dedication to improving the lives of women and families in the community. Its wide array of programs and services, backed by the generosity of donors and sponsors, makes it an indispensable resource for those in need.

FourBlock is a meaningful, action-oriented program that helps military members who are transitioning out of service. Its 10 weekly sessions focus on professional development skills that veterans need, including resume writing and tailoring, interviewing skills, LinkedIn optimization, and networking. It's an interactive and collaborative program that capitalizes on successful corporations and large businesses. Every participant benefits from it in their own ways, depending on their own needs, and I completed the program with significantly better understanding on how to manage my presence on LinkedIn and much stronger networking skills. This is a veteran-focused nonprofit that is worthy of support and investment from companies and executives who want to make a difference!

The Beacon House is a place of miracles. They saved my son’s life and I will be forever grateful. I highly recommend to anyone looking for real change. The program is not easy, but it will change your life.

As someone who is neurodivergent, I truly value how Exceptional Children’s Foundation (ECF) supports people across the full spectrum of neurodiversity. ECF offers programs for every level of need—from residential homes with daily care to independent living options with weekly check-ins. Their art centers give creative individuals a voice, the culinary program teaches real-life skills, and Exceptional Works helps clients gain job training and find meaningful employment. The staff here are compassionate and skilled at connecting with both verbal and nonverbal clients. The environment is inclusive, respectful, and focused on helping everyone grow at their own pace. I’ve seen how ECF helps people embrace who they are and feel proud of it. For families looking for genuine support and opportunities for neurodivergent loved ones, ECF is an incredible place to start.

Work Vessels for Vets Inc is a phenomenal organization ! Thanks a million for the grant for an enclosed trailer. As a disabled Veteran small business at times its difficult to obtain equipment or loans fot business growth. The trailer grant will give us the opportunity to grow our business in snow removal here at Fort Wainwright, Alaska.<br>Top Notch application process, customer service and communications throughout the entire process.<br>

I've been connected to the Fulfillment Fund since 9th grade. Before they came into my life, I had no clear picture of what came after high school. They changed that. What started as exposure to possibilities grew into mentorship, internships, college guidance, a scholarship, and four years of academic support once I got there. They didn't disappear after the acceptance letter. They stayed in my corner through all of it. What makes this organization different is that they actually show up. The advisors and staff aren't just doing a job. They care about the students they work with, and you feel that. I'm still involved to this day, which says everything about the community they build. Every underrepresented student deserves this kind of support. The Fulfillment Fund doesn't just help you get to college. They help you get through it and beyond. That's rare, and it made a real difference in my life.

I had an excellent experience with FIT. My case manager is Tamara Garcia. She really fought for me to get what I needed. She got my entire schooling paid for, including my industry certificate and now I’m an FAA Part 107 certified pilot. She actually cares and went over so much with me, making sure that my schooling was a perfect fit for me (pun intended). I feel so fortunate and blessed to have her as my case manager. I greatly appreciate her and the entire program for this opportunity. I have my business up and running and I’m at a very exciting point in my life. Thank you Tamara and FIT!

This is such a friendly, welcoming, and supportive group. And the resources they provide the community are invaluable. The speakers have been great, as have the opportunities to make new connections with people who might have job leads, become colleagues, or even become friends.

We had a great experience working with Second Chance team on a property deconstruction where we were donating the materials they could salvage. A professional process from beginning to end, the team on site worked with care to only remove the required items without damage to the rest of the property and kept me updated throughout the process and worked well with our building contractor. Am sure we were a smaller more complex case for them, but the service was outstanding.

I have been a volunteer and part -time fitness instructor (Seated Zumba Gold) with VISIONS for 13 years. The staff at Visons is terrific- very supportive and helpful. I am still amazed at how the staff kept programming for their clients - especially older adults - going during the pandemic by offering all classes by phone. I also teach Improv Comedy once a week which is still done by phone (zoom call). Several of my Zumba Gold students are also participants in Improv. It is so inspiring to observe blind and visually impaired students be able to enjoy programs that sighted students might take for granted. The Visions students - especially for Seated Zumba Gold - are so appreciative of the classes. This is only my viewpoint from teaching fitness and arts classes and I know that the variety of classes and events offered for clients of Visions is very varied in all subjects and keeps everyone's Minds and Bodies active - also offering the participants a great social network where friendships are formed - laughs are had - and memories are made!

I've witnessed firsthand the incredible impact Irving Cares has on our community. They provide vital assistance to Irving residents facing financial hardship, offering everything from food pantries to job training programs.
