Coming to Maryland New Direction has helped me in so many ways, for example I was had some basic knowledge of how to write a resume, how to dress for interview , and wrote a resume. but after attending the last two week workshop here I really didn't know to much. I like to thank each and everyone who has planted so much growing seeds into my job search tool bags, for the great job they has done for me to become successful in not only seeking a better source of income. This has been a great experience for me.

Before I came to Maryland New Directions I was working at a job that I was not happy at. I am glad that I did go to that job fair because I learned a lot from from all the of the workshops on how to create a good resume to what to wear. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend Maryland New Direction to anyone who is trying to find a career.

I enjoyed my last two weeks of training. In the beginning I was a little skeptical/unclear on what I would be learning. Now that I have completed the training, I have a much better perspective on my job search and what I need to do to make things continue to happen in my life. Thanks for this opportunity!!!!!!!

Maryland New Direction is a God send. I just happened to walk by their office one day and I wanted to find out more information about what they did. I was looking for a job, a career change and more help doing those things. The receptionist gave me some basic information about MND and later contacted me to start the next orientation class wwith MND.
This total experience with MND is what I needed to help me with more software training, good interviewing skills, more information on looking for a job, what are my skills in the work force or volunteering and much, much more.

Before coming to Maryland New Directions, i didn't know how to properly create a resume, cover letter or fill out a master application. I didn't know what to do and say to successfully impress an interviewer to be hired. As a result of my 2 week training at MND, I overcame the barriers that i just previously mentioned and i was given a "JOB OFFER" the day before i graduated from this 2 week course.

I'm a Wife and mother looking to reenter the job market, Maryland New Directions has been a comfortable place for me to learn how to overcome this barrier! I'm back next week for computer class for WORD, EXCEL and Power Point because I am rusty. But that's okay because this is what MND is here for! I look forward to using the tools acquired to assist me in my new job looking for employment, that in itself is a full time job!

Today is a NEW Direction for me, FORWARD Never Back! I'm excited thank you!

I was attending another program before I was called to come to MND. I am so glad that I left the other program. MND walked you through everything you needed to know to get on the right track for employment. The one on one job coach, love it. In all my training, I have never come out feeling so sure and self confident in my job search. I would recommend this program to all who's having trouble trying to find a job. The volunteers are awesome. These people take time from their busy schedule to help you. I am totally satisfied. Thank you MND!!!
