As a freelance puppeteer I am so grateful for Extras for Creative Reuse! Having access to reusable materials allows me to keep excellent art based workshops affordable and accessible for schools and community groups. Using their materials also helps me teach participants about reusing and recycling by link the puppet workshops into curriculum around issues of environment and responsible consumerism. <br> <br>In my personal work Extras has also been an incredible resource! My newest show is over 75% materials from Extras for creative reuse. Funding children theater is challenging, Extras helps offset the thin budgets I have to work with. Staff make threats at kids they barely feed you they don't do any activities at all most of the staff are jerks they don't watch you let you do whatever you want they have 3 groups a week and it bothers the kids only use there community time Thursdays Fridays Saturdays and Sundays

The Boys and Girls club has been a beacon of light to the young people in our communities. It is by far the oldest and most effective agency, where low income families get an opportunity to become leaders and make change where they live. The BGCL leaders are consistently looking for ways to connect the young people with practical ways to serve the community. They learn real skills that they can add to their life resume that would yield life long learning. Staff is very helpful , personable and kind so that parents feel safe leaving their kids there. The new building is amazing with a plethora of new opportunities. 100% recommend the whole club with the summer camp, its amazing.

North Shore Juneteenth Association is a growing, thriving nonprofit which "works to create awareness about the Juneteenth holiday, educate the broader community about positive aspects of Black American culture, and dismantle racism by using events and programming as a tool for change." In addition to hosting and promoting many Juneteenth Flag raising events on the North Shore. It creates year-round programming to promote its mission.
