Charity brings so much joy to the needy cause atleast they have someone or they feel like people actually care for them
My children are members of the BGCL, starting their 3rd year!
I can not say enough about the club, or explain how this was the greatest decision i have yet made for my kids. Yearly membership is highly affordable and worth every cent. Upon hearing the cost, I couldn't believe my ears - had to ask the director to confirm the cost and frequency bcuz there is no expense we incur that is so unbelievably reasonable!
At the club all the kids are forever busy and having a ton of fun in every activity they are apart of. They learn while playing and are completely unaware of it. Kids are able to volunteer for all kinds of community services that our city needs. My kids and surely mostly all of them, get that sense of pride and accomplishment when they volunteer their time and services to help others in need. In our family that is what we live by, helping others and being a team.
The children are safe and off the streets. They are constantly making new friends and spending time with those they currently go to school with. Growing relationships with other kids and even the staff, which the children adore. Thats what will keep our community a SOLID COMMUNITY.
There are very few places our children are able to go these days, especially those who have little means of transportation and also financial hardships. Times are very tough these days, for all of us. Investing in a yearly membership of only $40 is a bargain when it comes to ensuring the safety and well being of our children.
Live, Love, Laugh, Learn & Grow ~~> makes an everlasting memory for our children giving them happiness and pride ~~> in turn they are sure to give that back to our community and all those who just need a helping hand ~~> success, achievement, goals...
Every child in our community should be an active member of the BGCL.
A SAFE START FOR OUR CHILDREN * WHERE THEY LEARN, GIVE & SHARE * TAKING PRIDE IN THEMSELVES SERVING OTHERS & THEIR COMMUNITY * MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN LIFE, ONES HEART, HOME, OR SIMPLY JUST SHEER HAPPINESS, JOY OF KNOWING WE ALL HAVE SOMEONE WE CAN TURN TO
*FIRST STEPPING STONE IN EVERY CHILDHOOD SHOULD BEGIN HERE
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Simply Publicly Announce all the club has to offer - consistently so the community is aware of all the great opportunities the children can be apart of. As a parent in the community, the club is not known well at all. Sad to know how many kids are missing out.
