I first met founder Chief Gene Saunders and the Project Lifesaver team in 2009, 10 years into their mission, while on assignment as a newspaper reporter. At the time, I interviewed several caretakers whose loved ones had been found alive and in record time thanks to Project Lifesaver's special expertise and immediate action. I gained tremendous insights to the profound challenges that people prone to wandering due to cognitive impairments and the search-and-rescue teams charged with finding them all face. Flash forward to 2024, as Project Lifesaver International celebrates 25 years, expansion and growth beyond the U.S.A. and more than 5,000 success stories, and I write this on behalf of scores of others I've met over the years: It's hard to imagine what life would be like for the missing, the caretakers, the search teams and their communities without Project Lifesaver International. We appreciate all you do to save our spouses, parents, children, siblings, neighbors and friends, "bringing (our) loved ones home" from the dangerous paths they roamed. Keep up the great work.

I spent 19 years practicing emergency medicine in Chesapeake. I always knew, no matter what my disavantaged patients needed, that I could refer them to the clinic and they would be cared for. My surety was reinforced by my 25 years volunteering there as a provider, legislative advocate, fundraiser, Professional Services Committee Chair, and Board Member.

I believe in the awesome work CPCenter does.Its a port in the storm for so many mothers in despair and salvation of many unborn!<br>Thats why I will always support Crisis Pregnancy Center.<br>

I had a great experience building a playset for Arianda. It was my first playset build and I learned a lot and met a lot of great people. I earned service hours for school but more importantly made an impact on a little girl fighting cancer.

Amazing group providing my special needs daughter the experience or riding the waves every summer at the Jersey Shore.<br><br>Such a blessing for her and other kids to get out in a surfboard!<br><br>Many thanks to the hundreds of volunteers too.

I have been a donor to the Foundation for many years. I not only believe in the mission and vision of the ministry I see it as the best solution to what is going on in our country. I knew the founder personally and have served with John and Carole Adams for many years. I know the integrity and oversight given to the ministry from planning to reporting as well as financial oversight. They have been and continue to be completely transparent and have had a board who has served faithfully for many years. The work that has been accomplished through this organization is to be commended. They have tremendous values and integrity as they seek to restore America to its Biblical Foundations. I have been deeply blessed by Principle Approach Education and highly recommend this vital mission to every Christian family. I give confidently and will continue for many years to come. There is no greater investment to make than into the education of our children. May the Foundation for American Christian Education be blessed with many more years of serving for God's Glory.

My personal experience with the Combat Wounded Coalition (CWC) goes back nearly 7 years now. I couldn't be more proud to have become personally involved with Jay Redman and his entire team. They work tirelessly and with limited budgets to carryout their mission of helping our military service men and women re-engage and find a path to a purpose driven life. The work is personal and it doesn't matter if the venue is a couple warriors or a ballroom filled with Patriots the CWC touches individuals deeply and inspires, motivates and mentors our wounded warriors to find a path back from whatever scares they've brought back from war.<br>Massimo Zanetti Beverage is now and will continue to support the mission of the CWC .<br>

My sister worked for Chesapeake Service Systems for many years and was very happy working there ,it was a work environment that you knew was safe. She was always treated with respect and if family had questions they were their to help. I just wish that they never gave up their contract with Dam Neck.

I support Broken Chains International, because they save marriages, families, and lives everyday. BCI is Christian counseling organization that meets people in the depths of despair. For many, it is the last stop before a divorce lawyer. People this amazing organizations serves, struggle with infedility, emotional abuse, physical abuse, pornography, and deceit just to name a few. Couples that meet with Kevin Daly are one step away from changing the course of their marriage and the lives of their family forever. Kevin Daly, with the power of the Holy Spirit and the prayers of his supporters, meets people where they are, listens, and is able to show truth where there are lies. <br><br>The entire team of counselors works with couples, individual adults, teenagers, and children regardless of their ability to pay, to break through the lies that life has brought them to believe in order to shed light on truth. So many marriages and families have been saved and healed through this team of people. This is why I support what they do. Family is such a crucial part of relationships and Broken Chains International saves families and heals lives.

Law Enforcement United is one of the greatest organization related to police and emergency services. They do an outstanding job helping out the community and keeping families together through tough times. The money they raise helps the families of Officers who have died in the line of duty and lets their children attend a camp for the summer. The people in this organization seem to be the best part of their organization. They are always police, courteous and high respected. I have been donating this organization for the past 5 years and I am impressed with how far they have come and big they have gotten. What a great organization and group of people. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!

It has been my pleasure and privilege to work with Elder Patricia Bronson for the past 12 years in the City of Norfolk and Virginia Beach. This ministry has been servicing Title 1 Elementary Schools, i.e.,Rosemont Elementary and P.B. Young Elementary School (Norfolk) with school uniforms, school supplies, coats, hats, and winter gear. The children have been blessed by these donations and we have received numerous thank you letters from parents and school administrators. Parents are stretching their incomes to provide for their children and Life in Christ steps in with necessary items each year! <br> <br>Life in Christ Ministries, Inc. has hosted workshops and revivals throughout the past twelve years where childen are taught about Jesus Christ and His Power and Healing that touches their lives in an awesome way. This non-profit works with the Kempsville Rehabilitation Center (Virginia Beach) in cheering and life-changing fellowship with its' seniors and patients. Annual Christmas, Easter, and Mother's Day Celebrations are held. Recently, the founder has traveled abroad to Kisumu, Kenya to add a Children's Center to the Ministries' outreach efforts. What a great addition to the array of services to God's People. This Ministry serves God's people and would appreciate all donations for the new Kenya Children's Center. I volunteered as a foster for this rescue and the situation became very tense, very quickly. It was clear that we did not align in terms of our ideas for proper care of the pets and how a rescue group should be run, but when it came to a head, the president of the group was rude, and acted out in a way that was not in the best interest of the dogs in her care. My family was called names, marginalized, insulted in every way. We will not be working with them in the future.

I'm afraid that after *years* of donating to The Cousteau Society, they have seen the last of my money. Something is wrong there; I have donated two years in a row now via Google Checkout, and haven't seen any of the expected membership benefits (including the over-$100 level red watch cap, which I qualified for with my December 2011 donation). No one returns calls to the 800 number or emails to *any* email address, and if you dial any of the office numbers direct (NY, VA), you get a message that the number has been disconnected. What is going on there? I can't say, but I fear that my money has been going into a black hole for the past two years, which is quite sad considering the good work that Captain Cousteau did for so many years.
