The Soldiers' Angels Veteran Internship program hasn't just changed my life but SAVED it. It started as one piece of candy and a stocking at a time. At rock bottom, these very Angels helped me to sit up, take a knee, stand on my feet, walk in my purpose, and eventually take flight. As a disabled, retired Veteran, having an opportunity to play a part in the impact our programs provide still evokes emotion. Every tear has been in admiration of the Military communities we serve and the Angels who put all hands in with passion, dedication, and humble reverence. "May no soldier go unloved | May no soldier walk alone | May no soldier be forgotten | Even after they come home.™" is more than an ethos. Even to use that word is a gross understatement. For Soldiers' Angels, it's every breath, every step, every minute of the mission in action - and THEY GET THE JOB DONE.
