Review for Delphi Opera House, Delphi, IN, USA
I am honored to coach the Delphi Opera House in creating a plan to retire its capital campaign debt while postioning itself to map out a new strategic plan to enhance the arts community enriching the Delphi region. With a new executive director on board and the sustaining involvement of a number of Board members, it is the optimal time to invest in an innovative and inspiring future.

Review for Kokomo Humane Society, Kokomo, IN, USA
The Kokomo Humane Society continues to grow both its program of services and its positive impact on the region it serves. From providing cost-efficient donor access through its website linked to the transaction platform Network for Good to growing the reach of its special events, Dog Days of Summer and Autumn Catch, this organization is building community across the many constituencies that care about companion animals.

Review for Northwest Wyoming Family Planning Inc, Cody, WY, USA
During the past year, Northwest Health Care, inveested time and resources in board development to engage the volunteers governing the agency more actively in securing resources for the mission. These investments include directing prospects and donors to electronic giving--the most efficient, cost-effective way to support a nonprofit and its mission--through the transaction platform, Network for Good. That is also how I came to work with this organization delivering essential heath care services to its area of Wyoming.

Review for Child Care Resource And Referral Inc, Kimberly, WI, USA
Through participating in Network for Good's Jumpstart program, this CCR&R is effectively piloting a number of new fundraising initiatives using the tools in NFG's platform. There is a new emphasis on developing major gifts as well as giving prospects and donors on-site giving opportunities at the many community events in which the organization participates.

Review for Systems Re-Imagined, Collierville, TN, USA
The energy that Dr. Crystal and Mr. Sherman Riddle bring to their vision for assisting education--both those who deliver the content and the families who enroll in these programs--offers Memphis a fresh voice and perspective. The Riddles seek to share their expertise with those who remain committed to the power of education as a tool for building brighter futures for individuals and the society across which they share their talent.

Review for Davies Manor Assoc Inc, Bartlett, TN, USA
As a fundraising coach, it was wonderful to make a site visit to the Davies Manor Association and see how the nonprofit generates multiple streams of revenue to sustain its mission. The Board and Staff collaborate to preserve and interpret the oldest home in Shelby County and one of the oldest original structures in Western TN. The story delivered is both nclusive and multi-faceted.
This organization provides another great example of growing leadership from within its own talent: Kat Hansen, Executive Director, began as a volunteer.

Review for East End Neighborhood House Association, Cleveland, OH, USA
Promoting leadership from within demonstrates a nonprofit's power to grow its own. Executive Director Atunyese Herron builds on her six years as EENHA's COO in taking on this role from her predecessor of more than a decade at the helm, Zulma Zabala. This continuity of leadership positions the organization to continue building on its cradle to wisdom keepers continuum of services to one of Cleveland's most historically-challenged areas.
Celebrating the spirit of UNBUNTU...I am because we are, EENHA provides a full menu of social services and continues to earn the philathropic investment of Cleveland's most influential institutional funders.

Review for Asociación Latinoamericana del Sur de Indiana Inc., Huntingburg, IN, USA
Serving the growing population of Latino residents across Indiana's rural Dubois County, the organization opened its Resource Center in September 2023. Powered by the commitment of volunteers, the first professional staff members joined the organization in 2024. With the support of the community, the human and space assets of the nonprofit continue to drive the four-part mission of this innovative nonprofit: 1) Advancing Access; 2) Expanding Education; 3) Celebrating Culture and 4) Securing Sustainability. These are the four pillars that bound the Founding Members as they pursued the dream of a place for service culminating in the opening of the Resource Center. These integrated goals continue to propel the mission of ALASI forward.

Review for ZAMI NOBLA (National Organization of Black Lesbians on Aging), Atlanta, GA, USA
The focused mission of this organization to address the issues of aging Black Lesbians achieved a significant milestone at the end of 2024 with the completion of the renovation of Biggers House to provide safe living space for aging Black elders. This project brought together many donors and demonstrates the ability of the organization to manage a significant project that will profoundly and positiviely impact the Atlanta community by creating a focused resource for the members of this community.
Review for Documentary Producers Alliance, Dover, DE, USA
For audiences of the documentary format, there is--even if they do not know it--no more important nonprofit than this alliance that advocates for sustainability of those whose voices and vision produce this content. DPA's role in advocacy and other best practices in compensation and equity, will contribute to the ongoing production of independent films.
Volunteer time and energy brings the organization to this junction: the establishment of a fundraising model to provide for renewal and expansion of how the organization can become more effective in achieving results for its more than 600 members across the world. It is a privilege to be working with them on advancing DPA's mission of service in the telling of stories that illuminate the world we share.

Review for Magnolia Harbor Carefarm, Powell, TN, USA
As Network for Good's longest serving Personal Fundraising Coach, I meet many clients through the matching system that Bonterra, NFG's parent company, generously provides. Sometimes these clients return to me to continue working with them to enhance and expand the systems we collaborated to create as they were growing an outreach program.
Magnolia Habor Carefarm's story of growth and impact is one of my best illustrations of a start-up growing its reach and impact. Caring for humans and animals, this sanctuary is building a sustainable mix of revenue channels as it positions itself to deliver its unduplicated mission. It's been a joy to watch them grow and honor to be invited back to serve the Farm as it continues to use the tools in Network for Good to strengthen its ability to serve the vulnerable populations it is distinctly-equipped to engage.
Review for Dress For Success Memphis, Memphis, TN, USA
The Dress for Success Memphis story is one of a phoenix rising from the ashes. When newly appointed ED Rhonda Treadwell began her tenure of leadership in 2020, the organization's resources were under $10,000 and the majority of what was available was restricted. The organization now operates with a reserve and a sustainable budget plan that provides reliable serve to the Memphis area. Dress for Success Memphis celebrated its 25th anniversary in September 2024.

Review for A Betor Way, Eads, TN, USA
As co-founders of this innovative organization that seeks new ways to combat addiction as a living memorial to Memphis based artist Ronnie Bobal otherwise known as “Betor” who lost his own battle on Christmas Day 2016, Ronnie's parents support other families who seek to assist in breaking the cycle before it leads to someone else's death. Using best practices in fundraising to launch an organization with a distinctive mission, they are on their way to expanding the program options available to the Bluff City region.

Review for Reach Memphis, Memphis, TN, USA
As REACH Memphis fundraising coach during the first year of Tiffani Morrow Smith's leadership as Executive Director, I celebrate the new emphasis on a strategic plan for funding one of Memphis' oldest college preparatory programs. There is a vibrant mix of outreach to alumni, individuals and institutional funders combined with a new schedule of events to share insights with younger students and their families as well as for fundraising.
There is a new imagining of this legacy organization founded through the collaboration of both the Memphis Volunteer Placement Center, as a volunteer effort of Cecile Prager, and as a program of the Memphis Rotary Foundation. This new year of 2025, provides a wonderful time to join REACH Mempis' mission.
