Hawi is my name. I am a 4 year old black cat that lives in Waikiki Honolulu. My mom found me at 3 months old downstairs in her apartment parking lot all alone. She saved my life! I love my mom so much. In March of 2024 I began having blood in my urine and really struggling. She changed my diet, got numerous rounds of antibiotics for me but nothing helped. My bladder stones only multiplied to 7 and were the size of sticker burs. After 4 months my mom who is 70, disabled and living in public housing reached out to FOR THE LOVE OF ALEX and in less then 4 days had been personally contacted by phone that they would cover 100% of all of my medical expenses! She told me it was the best birthday present she had ever received! That's right on June 24 she turned 70 and I received my life saving surgery. If it had not been from the kindness and love from each and every one of you who have given and want to give now please never forget this " YOU HAVE NOT LIVED TODAY UNTIL YOU HAVE DONE SOMETHING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN NEVER REPAY YOU" John Bunyan. I am so so happy now! I am pain free and able to go about my day enjoying my fur family, watching rainbows from my window but most of all sleeping on my mommy's chest gazing into her eyes as she finally is able to sleep and knows in her heart I am finally OK!
