This nonprofit organization was absolutely life saving. After leaving an abusive relationship and managing to get myself, my sons, and our cat Sophie out of the house we had to mov back to my parents. I was short on money because my abuser took everything I had… shortly after we moved here my baby girl Sophie developed an Aural Hematoma. She was completely the opposite of her usual self. After a visit to a vet and a very pricey estimate I cried in the vet office. When I got home I did some research with the help of a local animal shelter and found For the Love of Alex. This organization has forever changed our lives for the better. Even after the first surgery went wrong they helped me to get her the second one. After a lot of recovery time and vet visits she is finally back to herself. And I owe it all to this organization. Thank you Carla and everyone at the Love of Alex Foundation! You truly have made my family complete again.
