I am a board member and I am truly blessed to be associated with the great non profit Help Animals India and its director/founder Eileen Weintraub. Eileen is the most compassionate, empathetic and kindest person I have ever met. Eileen works very hard and is in constant communication with many animal welfare groups in India. I can vouch that every dollar is being stretched to the maximum impact, going to the most effective animal welfare groups, directly helping several programs that serve and help alleviate the suffering of animals India ( rescue, rehabilitation, animal birth control programs, educating the community, and more ). She sends detailed newsletter updates with the recent news, projects and appeals. The website is always up to date and even includes all the tax returns filed. I knows that she replies to each and every donation received by the organization, even the smallest one. She visits India, meeting face to face with the animal welfare groups and witnesses the operations on the ground. Varanasi for Animals is an initiative that Eileen herself helped establish, making a difference in the lives of distressed animals there. She deeply cares not only for the animals but also all the people around her. I recommend Help Animals India as a true great non-profit !
