I came to A Place Called Home as a Social Work Intern Volunteer and have been given great opportunities to interact with children and parents. There are many great programs, such as teaching children about nutrition and how to grow vegetables and fruits, dancing, playing drums and guitars, and arts and counseling departments to support members. In addition, A Place Called Home also encourages and supports members to fulfill and be purposeful in their lives by providing scholarships for youths who attend college. Not only that, but the agency also supports the members and their families to improve their economic conditions and health by distributing food resources every week. A great environment and safe place for all children.
