I keep trying to register for Atlanta and have had no luck the last few months. It keeps saying it's closed, but yet I got an email that said to register.
Hello, and sincere apologies that you have not been able to register for the Atlanta Food Distribution. Unfortunately, the need for food assistance in Atlanta is extremely high with the situation continuing to worsen. Our event can only provide food to 200 veterans. When we release registration to the list of veterans wanting food assistance, it is full within about six minutes. That includes 200 veterans on the registered list as well as 50 on the waitlist. We are doing the best we can to serve as many veterans in-need in your area, but unfortunately, the need is very, very great.
