We have had the absolute pleasure of making the acquaintance of Help Animals India on our shared journey of animal welfare. Headed by Mrs. Weintraub, the organization has come to our aid with timely donations over the last few years at a time when the Pandemic had us tightening our belts and needing to make very difficult decisions. Their swift aid also came in the form of funding for damage repair & reconstruction after the cyclone Amphan caused extensive structural destruction to our animal hospital in May 2020.
A mammoth project we have undertaken in and around the streets of Kolkata - ABC (Animal Birth Control) has in no small part been possible because of their continued support.
Sensitive, astute, compassionate and with a finger on the pulse of the troubles strays face in India, Mrs. Weintraub has become quite a well respected and loved person at Ashari - the Kolkata wing of Smt. Maneka Gandhi's NOG People for Animals.
We look forward to working with her on countless projects in the future as we work towards a shared mission of making the streets of Kolkata healthy, happy & cruelty free in the true spirit of Joy this City embodies.
