A few months ago I found out that my cat, Peru, had cancer in her ear. The only option to save her life was to have total ear canal ablation surgery which costs around $4000. Unable to afford the surgery I was feeling hopeless. I began to apply for grants and after applying for funds from For the Love of Alex, my hope was restored. They contacted me almost immediately and were friendly and supportive throughout Peru’s cancer journey. Without their help Peru would not have been able to beat cancer.
