Review for Susie Qs Kids Inc, Warren, MI, USA
Dr. Mary Welsh, the co-founder of Susie Q’s Kids, a 501c3 non-profit created in honor of her late daughter Susie McBride-Welsh, was the nonprofit I chose to support during my Pinpoints of Light Childhood & Sexual Abuse Awareness and Healing Conference. We focused our efforts on healing and comfort, and Dr. Mary Welsh's nonprofit matched perfectly. Her professionalism, organization, and source of light and positivity were amazing.
We shone a Beacon of light on the darkness of abuse, helping to expose it and help the victims find healing. As a result of the donations, many children could get a comfort bag to help them heal. As Mary says, Together we can make a difference, “One comfort bag at a time.”
April and her fellow colleagues shared important messages of strength, hope and healing by shedding light on childhood and sexual abuse and awareness. As a speaker on the power of positivity in healing, we were able to make an immediate impact. Pinpoints of Light donated all registration fees to Susie Q's Kids to provide comfort bags to kids in shelters. Thank you on behalf of Susie Q's Kids and the kids you helped.
