Review for CAMP CONQUEST, Cordova, TN, USA
This was my son's 1st time at Camp Conquest. We don't have many options for his level of care, so We drove from Atlanta. Both he & I were nervous at drop-off... however, he LOVED camp!!!! He's nonverbal but upon pickup, he would not stop smiling & pointing @ his counselor. He didn't want to let go of the group camp picture for the drive home, so he held it the entire way. Everyone at camp was so friendly, they kept us updated with plenty pictures, and I had personal contact numbers to call for check-ins. We plan do this Camp Conquest as many years as they'll have us going forward!
Review for Special Needs Respite Inc, Roswell, GA, USA
"Special Need's Respite" program allowed me to get personalized in-home care for my special need's son so that I could work during "virtual" school days, and even allowed me to get a well-needed rest away to renew my spirit. The application process was very easy and the intake interview was simple and no-stress! Which is so rare in so many "support" programs available these days.
Review for A Mother's Rest Charitable Respite Foundation, New Market, MD, USA
Have had 2 respite weekends at the GA location and they were both wonderful!!! Restful and rejuvenating, and made new best friends among other moms who GET IT!!! Swimming pool is fabulous, the house is in excellent condition, well-cared for, rooms spotless, beds & pillows heavenly, kitchen well-stocked, coffee gets my highest review. Charming restaurants in close by town, just about 20mins to Helen. Can't wait to go back!!!
