My child Victor is 7 and he has autism. Since he was young, he has been so attracted to water. There was one day that he accidentally got out of our apartment and in those long few seconds, I right away ran to the pool area and he was there. It was fortunate that the pool gate was closed. We also once took him to the beach and he was not daunted even when the waves were strong. I knew that he had to learn water safety for survival. However, adaptive swimming programs for children with special needs cost so much. We are already paying for ABA and Speech therapy that we couldn't afford to pay for a special swim program to help him. It was by God's grace that I found this foundation. They are covering my child's first three months of adaptive swimming. I will write again here once we finish his program to update on his progress. I cannot thank this foundation enough for this opportunity for my son to learn water safety.
