We are so grateful to this foundation for making it possible to send our daughter to a summer camp that has a wonderful program for young adults that will work on social and ADL skills while living communally. The cost is high for such a program as they have professionals that can give our daughter the skills that as a parent it can be hard and exhausting at times. Because her IQ exceeds the threshold of government benefits, she does not qualify for programs that would help her with prework skills. My husband is a teacher but it has been hard for me to work as I have had to care for my daughter and son who has a physical disability. Thanks so much ASDF!
