For the Love of Alex was amazing! My sweet 18 yo Princess had just been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and had already had a bleeding UTI so she needed more testing and another checkup to see if her meds and course of treatment were working so we'd know how to proceed. After exhausting my resources on her prior appointments, blood & urine tests and her various prescriptions, I didn't have anywhere else to turn. I found For the Love of Alex online and they were one of the few organizations that would cover testing. I messaged them about the situation and didn't get my hopes up but they replied to me the next day! She walked me thru the application process and then they made their decision quick. It was such a relief to know I could get Princess the care she needed. For the Love of Alex paid my vet directly and made it easy which was such a relief during this stressful time. I can't say enough good things about them.
