Review for Literacy Council Of Frederick County Maryland, Frederick, MD, USA
The Literacy Council does "life changing" work every day of the week. They help immigrants learn English, improve their conversation skills, study for the citizenship exam and learn about American culture and community. For those residents who need basic literacy skills, they open so many doors by helping people improve their reading and writing abilities. This enables people to find better jobs and improve the economic stability for their families. And best of all, they provide these services to the community at no cost to them. Volunteer tutors are trained and certified free of charge and the council provides all materials for students and tutors. It is an amazing organization and truly deserves support and encouragement in their mission.

Review for Mission of Mercy, Frederick, MD, USA
This organization is such a blessing to our community. The truly serve with love and that love in itself is a healing power to the people it touches. Whenever I have observed the volunteers at work among those they serve, it is obvious that they are truly passionate about what they do and how much they care. People never complain about having to wait and are grateful for each action. There are very few organizations that I support financially with regularity, but Mission of Mercy is one.
