Mission of Mercy's staff and volunteers have the most sincere heart towards their patients - they truly love them! Through that love, they restore the dignity of those in need by meeting their most basic health care needs. The more I learned and became involved with MOM, the more impressed I was with their service to our community.
I haven truly enjoyed working with Mission of Mercy and hope to again in the future. Mission of Mercy is everything they state in their mission statement. Patient's are truly received and treated with love and respect and also receive excellent medical treatment. Mission of Mercy is so very dedicated to the people they treat.
I believe it is our responsiblity to serve others in need. What better way to serve than by volunteering for a wonderful, caring organization like Mission of Mercy?
Mission of Mercy is an AMAZING organization that serves so many people with such little money resources. They rely upon a wide network of dedicated volunteers to deliver medical care to individuals and families with lower incomes, and they provide this care in an atomosphere of dignity and grace. I have visited their medical site in Frederick City several times and I am always amazed by the number of patients served and the professional manner in which the medical care is delivered. I definately give Mission of Mercy 5 stars!
This organization is such a blessing to our community. The truly serve with love and that love in itself is a healing power to the people it touches. Whenever I have observed the volunteers at work among those they serve, it is obvious that they are truly passionate about what they do and how much they care. People never complain about having to wait and are grateful for each action. There are very few organizations that I support financially with regularity, but Mission of Mercy is one.
My son volunteers for cleanup at the end of the day and I have never been more impressed watching the volunteer staff as they handle each patient with understanding, love and care. I also like the organization because they don't ask their patients to prove their poverty. That means so much. People can get the care they need and not be embarrassed to ask for help there because they know that God has sent the Angels of Mission of Mercy to help them.
I had been looking for a way to help my community. When a Mission of Mercy volunteer contacted me, I jumped right at the chance! An organization which does not take taxes from people, but depends upon our own obligation as caring human beings to help each other. An organization which does not make requirements, like verifying income, before help is offered. An organization composed of caring people who realize they are on this planet to do whatever they can for others. This is the kind of organziation I want to be attached to. Giving a necessity - health care - at a time when government and many private organizations are sorely incapable of offering. This is an organization I want to be a part of. I am very, very happy to give the small amount I do to an organization which exists only to give! And they do give!
Mission of Mercy provides comprehensive health care for the uninsured - including dental care, X-rays, MRIs, free prescription medications, physical therapy, etc. - much, much more than other similar clinics. I can't say enough positive things about this fabulous, life saving resource
