I am an Instructor at North-West College Van Nuys, as well as a lifelong community outreach activist. The experience volunteering at Hope of the Valley is indescribable. From the energy of the guests to the commitment of the staff - it can be said that this organization doesn't just provide "Hope" for its namesake, but it truly does so in action as well. While at Hope of the Valley, I've had the privilege of sharing my stories and listening to others in exchange, and it makes you feel and believe that human interaction is still, in this day and age, a focal point for so many. I will continue to be a part of this amazing community and continue to be inspired by the world around me. As a human race, we are equals, and I wholeheartedly thank my friend, Jonathan Leeper, for keeping that notion at the forefront of all that he and his team do.
