I have had EOE for 10 years now! I am 22 years old and I’ve persevered through a lot. CURED is the only non profit that gives me hope. I have battled depression, anxiety, mental health issues that come with disease, so this is a big deal for me!
My 10 years of veteran experience with EOE got me in touch with CURED! CURED reached out to me to join their cause and now I post self help videos for people struggling with EOE on their Facebook page. Fighting EOE has a whole different meaning now since I got in touch with CURED. I have more of a purpose now instead of sitting around and hoping for a cure.. Without CURED, life would be much harder.. I have a feeding tube and can only eat rice so it helps a ton to know someone cares! I got married this past June, 2019 so my wife is on board with CURED’s amazing cause!!
