Hi!! I’m a mom of five kids, when my oldest was diagnosed with EOE, I googled it and CURED popped up, it was the only thing that I could read and make sense. I bought a shirt and other gear happy to show off a community I could belong to and not be alone spread awareness , CURED gave me hope that someone knew what this disease was and we could stand together and fight for a CURE, FF 13 years later and I have four kids with EOE I can’t even count the amount of times not just the foundation has helped but the people on the board, the support groups, the money goes directly to research… 100 % of it… that you can’t find. I know I would not be where I am with these kids without CURED, we are hopeful for a bright future and a CURE! Please donate, every dollar counts 100% goes to find a cure and better treatments!!!

I have had EOE for 10 years now! I am 22 years old and I’ve persevered through a lot. CURED is the only non profit that gives me hope. I have battled depression, anxiety, mental health issues that come with disease, so this is a big deal for me!
My 10 years of veteran experience with EOE got me in touch with CURED! CURED reached out to me to join their cause and now I post self help videos for people struggling with EOE on their Facebook page. Fighting EOE has a whole different meaning now since I got in touch with CURED. I have more of a purpose now instead of sitting around and hoping for a cure.. Without CURED, life would be much harder.. I have a feeding tube and can only eat rice so it helps a ton to know someone cares! I got married this past June, 2019 so my wife is on board with CURED’s amazing cause!!

My daughter was diagnosed with EoE many years ago and had been stable until recently. She was living and working in Japan and became ill. I contacted Ellyn from CURED to see if any of the doctors knew of any EoE specialist in Japan... and they did!! Ellyn got us contact information for a wonderful doctor in Japan who helped my daughter navigate the Japanese healthcare system. She saw him in his office in Tokyo. He was so very kind and so very helpful. Ellyn and the CURED group were what helped us contact him. I felt much better knowing my daughter was in good hands with a respected physician who knew about EoE. I am forever grateful for CURED's support and help.

I have been a fan of CURED for years, but recently they came to my aid and helped me so much. My daughter who has EoE is currently living in Japan. She became very ill and needed medical attention. I reached out to Ellyn from CURED to see if there were any doctors in Japan that were familiar with the disease. She found a wonderful GI doctor who consulted with the physicians treating my daughter and they even met for an appointment to see how she was doing. I would never have been able to find this doctor without the help of CURED. They helped me to feel more confident about her condition while she is literally on the other side of the world.

Ellyn, the founder of this charity and many of their volunteers are committed to helping the EOE community and mostly, to find a cure for all of us. The passion that Ellyn, has and the amount of time she spends helping others is amazing. She took so much time helping me to find the right doctors and made sure that i knew what questions to ask. I have spoken with so many people who have stories of how Ellyn took time to listen to their stories. Ellyn gave up her career to work solely on Cured. She doesn't take any compensation and neither do any of the board members. You can check out charities to see where their money goes to. This one does what they claim...100% of money raised goes to helping others.

So much love and care goes into this organization. 100% of all donations goes into research of eosinophilic disease!! Because of CURED there was a road map for my son for school help. This organization helped us to find a doctor who was knowledgeable, and cared about our son!! I can’t thank CURED enough

I have two children that suffer from eosinophilic disease. With the help of CURED, I have reassurance that someday a CURE will be found. CURED is the only all volunteer organization that donates 100% of all their funds to medical research, which is needed desperately in the EOE community. They are provided no governmental funding for these disease.
CURED also for the past two years put on a fabulous conference targeting Patient Education Families, Children & Adult Patients. It provided an opportunity to our family to meet the top research from all across the WORLD... as they collaborating on the latest research. Meeting all these professionals in one location was economical and efficient for our family. In the evening our family was able to connect with other families and it brought a sense of Hope. I was eager to leave that educational weekend with a great conference booklet which I refer to often in treating my own children.

My child has EOE and I have to say this organization is simply amazing. They are not only laser focused on a cure for EOE but provide a tremendous amount of emotional support for families and those affected by EOE. They have donated north of $2.5MM directly to research and the doctors and researchers who have been funded by CURED are making incredible progress. This is a no brainer...EOE researchers need funds to continue to search for a better treatments and hopefully a cure. CURED does just that. I strongly encourage anyone thinking of supporting CURED to review the amount raised and donated to research. You will be amazed at the how the efforts of this incredible organization have had a real impact on getting closer to a cure. Thank you CURED...we love you

While this organization does a good job raising money, it lacks a professional review process for their donations that anyone is aware of. Their website is very lacking. It does not have very much information and is hard to navigate. Their head volunteers also have a tendency to be unprofessional and get involved in public and private arguments on social media sites. Their intentions are good the execution and decorum are lacking.
