Review for Animal Place, Grass Valley, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Animal Place operates according to its stated principles in every realm. They inform, educate and inspire very effectively. As a vegan and animal rescuer and rehabilitator, I find they display the utmost integrity.

Review for Center for Biological Diversity Inc, Tucson, AZ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

As a biologist, I know that the Center for Biological Diversity picks its issues thoughtfully and with real expertise. It doesn't focus on species and habitats based on their "charisma;" rather, it educates us about the importance of *every* species in natural ecosystems, and why those that are most vulnerable must be protected. I am confident that my donations are put to exceedingy effective use.

Review for Wild Wings Rehabilitation Center Inc, Coatesville, PA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Susan is unsurpassed in her ethics, attention to detail, hard work, and all-around dedication to optimum health of birds in her care, and to the welfare of birds in the wild. I feel very fortunate to work with her as a colleague and friend.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

...the wealth of data that Susan has collected---data that can only come from almost unimaginably hard and extremely conscientious work, from dawn well past dark, seven days a week for months at a time.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the frequent, honest, constructive, imaginative, positive interactions which have improved our study and make its conclusions credible and replicable. Susan is advancing the frontiers of knowledge in a very meaningful way.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

observant, amazingly attentive to detail, extremely hard-working; and kindly and personable.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

change the standard of care for hundreds of thousands of captive birds, and very much increase the success of captive breeding programs for threatened and endangered species.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
