HI! My name is Kristen I work as a mentor at APCH and I love it! This is my first go at being a mentor and APCH has been the perfect place to explore this role. I have been wanting to get involved in the community more especially with youth. As a musician myself I was struck by the program and the plethora of resources it gave their youth for creative outlets. The staff at APCH are so incredibly nurturing and helpful and always available for questions. The group outings they make avaiable for us mentors and our youth is incredible from sporting events to concerts they really allow their kids to experience the city. The mentoring program gives such a positive and supportive enviornment for youth so they have place other than home and school to find out who they are. My young lady is so incredibly smart, kind and talented and I would not have found her and found such a wonderful bond if it weren't for the mentoring program at APCH.
