I have donated to For the Love of Alex since 2016. They do wonderful work, helping families pay for costly veterinary expenses. The organization briefly stopped accepting new cases in Feb 2018, when their founder and CEO died from cancer. The board struggled to get reorganized and appoint a new CEO. They also had a lot of back paperwork to address that hadn't been dealt with due to the CEO's illness.
