Last summer our cat "Boo" became very sick, she was a feral cat we took in 15 years ago. Boo never asked for anything but she gave great body hugs to make us aware of how much she loved us. She became ill very quickly and two office visits in one week came to $1,200. We wanted to do whatever we could to help her but by week number two she was worst. It was becoming evident that more office visits were going to be hard to pay. To be honest, I didn't look for any help but somehow the story of what Alex did for animals showed up in the Facebook feed. It was then that I reached out for help.

They were there for us, helped us so much and stayed in contact until the last visit when we were told she had cancer all over. They made a hardship for us go away, paid for the last two visits and cried with me. They continued to check in from time to time, who does that? No one. These people really care for the animal's that are placed before them for help, they care about you as a person and what your going through. They express love and support in ways that only hurt people can understand.

When we rescued a two year old cat who had been dumped and declawed last fall we shared that story with them. Still today, they reach out and check on our newest member of the family. We never forget the loves that have pasted away but share that love for another animal in need of a home.

I'll never forget how they comforted me, their kind words, always checking back to see how we are doing. This is the best nonprofit to give to in order to help not only the animal that is suffering but the family that finds it a hardship. I'm so blessed to be able to share with you how we feel.
