This Foundation is a true testimony to God’s grace, the strength that can be mustered up through faith, and the determination to turn a tragedy into something triumphant, even in spite of unending tears and heartbreak. If you know their story, you know that the Mills family is living through every parent’s worst nightmare. Not only are they living through it, they have been determined from the beginning of this tragic journey, to help save other people’s lives. Each day, they are turning their grief and their faith into deeds and works. There are countless people who have come forward to say they have been impacted by Kailee’s story. There have been parents, children, news outlets and newspapers, literally all over the world, who have heard their message. “Always buckle up. Stay buckled until the car is in park. Speak up if you don’t feel safe as a passenger.” It’s a simple, yet critical message for people of all ages. The Kailee Mills Foundation is taking steps every day to educate people on the real statistics of seatbelt safety, while also humbly exhibiting tremendous grace and gratitude. I’m proud to volunteer for this organization. I’m grateful to call these people my friends. And most of all, I’m honored to take part in their journey, and excited to see this organization grow.
