Last year, I went to the Home for the Holidays event and it was so wonderful to see my kid's smile as they played in the snow (which they have never seen before). A Place Called Home does a beautiful thing for the community and it warms my heart that every year the agency seems to offer more fun and open activities for the community. This year, I also went to the Comic Event, wow!!! Thank you APCH for the free books and bringing all those artists to this community. Honestly, if it wasn't for APCH my kids would not be able to experience these types of events. I am a single mother of 3 and funds are tight, so any opportunity that helps my kids be part of something productive and positive is a blessing!! Thank you to all those wonderful staff members and volunteers. We appreciate you!!
