My daughter has been struggling with a chronic illness for the past six years. We discovered CCA a couple of years ago and her chemo pal and the activities she brings have brought joy to her infusions. Even since COVID has shut down child friendly activities at the hospital, they have met her outside the hospital with a bag of activities.

My daughter has a rare chronic illness that necessitates treatments at Randall's every 4 to 8 weeks. It is such a relief to arrive at the East Side Ronald McDonald house after driving 270 miles for her appointments. The staff is so welcoming and there are always activities to take her mind off her tough days. Her time spent in hospitals has been made less traumatic by her time spent having fun at the house. As for us as parents, it is such a relief to not worry about having a place to stay near the hospital. We were even there during the "snowpocalypse" of 2016 for surgery. It is such a blessing for our family, I can't imagine trying to navigate with out it.
