The Snow Leopard Trust is so obviously passionate about their work and they very effectively inspire others to get passionate about saving these fabulous big cats of central Asia. They provide through their newsletters fantastic images of snow leopards caught on remote cameras, stories of the rangers who spend weeks and months hiking in very rugged and isolated terrain to gather data about the cats, stories of women's cooperatives initiated by the trust for income generation and young adult programs that provide invaluable education about the environment and conservation. And on and on.....Truly an inspiring non profit that is playing a very significant and critical role in helping to save not only the snow leopard, but the land the cats and other animals of the region rely on for their survival.

With so many environmental and civil rights issues needing urgent attention its hard to know where to turn and what to do. Friends of the Earth puts it all together for me. I know any support I offer is put to the best use and that FOE staff will be doing the hard work of protecting all that I love and cherish.
