My son never wanted to go to camp. I think it just would have been another place for him to be excluded and reminded that he was different. That changed when he tried Camp Odakoda, where he felt included and valued. He got to be around people who had many of the same interests as he did, and he learned about new hobbies as well. He even made some friends who live nearby, who he can see outside of camp. He liked the food, which is tailored for picky eaters and offers lots of options. It was okay, even encouraged, for the campers take a daily stress break where they could use their handheld gaming devices. What a huge blessing this camp is to our son and his peers!
