Review for Lungevity Foundation, Chicago, IL, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I don't know where I'd be without the LUNGevity foundation and especially the LCSC. Two days after my Mom was diagnosed, after reading awful, hopeless statistics, I logged onto LCSC for the first time. Their I found hope, support, and friendship. I clung to the message board as a lifeline throughout my mother's illness, her decline, and even after her death. It was the only place that I found where people 'got it' about Lung Cancer. Katie Brown who began the support board and whose role with LUNGevity has expanded recently is an amazing voice of compassion and support. She workds tirelessly to support and advocate for those dealing with this disease. LUNGevity not only gave me support through the support boards, but provided an avenue to raise funds and awareness myself. I enjoyed walking as a satellite walker in one of the walks a few years back and I try to support others walks and endeavors as well. I love it's focused support for the deadliest cancer out there.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
