I am a volunteer at Hope of The Valley and wanted to share my experience over the past few months. Not only does Hope of the Valley provide delicious nutritious lunches Mon thru Friday but it is done with such care for each and everyone who comes. Lunches are just part of what they provide for the homeless. They also have computer instruction, showers, and other assistance. Love and respect is shown to each person and it is so very evident each time I am there. Before lunch one of the directors always has a few words of encouragement and inspiration along with a prayer that is said over those attending and over the food. I consider it a privilege to contribute any way I can to this wonderful program because they provide not just food and other tangible items but most importantly love, respect and encouragement to all who come through their doors.
