I first discovered Paws Give Me Purpose when they applied for a medical grant for one of their hospice dogs (I help run a hospice dog grant fund). In learning more about the work they do, I was so taken with the expert professional care, love, and attention they give to senior, hospice, special needs, and vulnerable dogs. The small team who runs the sanctuary humbly and graciously gives everything to them, day in and day out, 24/7. These are some very happy dogs!!!! Not only am I now a donor, I try to volunteer as often as I can. The sanctuary is really a testament to the best of humanity, and I wish there were more organizations like Paws Give Me Purpose in this world.

What a great organization. They are responsive, responsible, well run, and easy to foster with! Fostering with them has always been a great experience. Bonus for their dedication to special needs dogs. They also make sure the dogs in their care are healthy and ready for adoption, which makes for many more happy tails. 😊

As a volunteer, I started watching Friday Night Foster Club to be supportive, and it was so sweet and positive to watch during a difficult time that it became a tradition in our house. Now when FNFC is on, we get our wine and pups and sit down for 45 minutes of conversation and cute dogs. We love to hear updates about how the dogs do after the show. Foster Dogs is great in how they use obstacles in our world and in animal rescue as an opportunity to create a positive experience to bring dogs and humans together.

I can't say enough great things about this organization, whether you're looking to foster, volunteer, or adopt. I started volunteering for Foster Dogs 2 years ago on their one-of-a-kind fospice program (foster + hospice) called Chloe's Fospice Friends. The great thing about Foster Dogs is how they empower their volunteers, which means I've had the opportunity to really get involved with a special field of animal rescue and to work with a group of passionate, talented, and very well-organized people! I'm always impressed with the new ideas they create to expand foster access and education, and their execution is equally as strong. And while I originally began volunteering because of the hospice program, my husband and I began fostering soon after, and it's been a very meaningful (and fun) part of both of our lives now. Thanks, Foster Dogs!!

Foster Dogs is a one-of-a-kind non-profit that is focused on enhancing the lives not just of dogs but of the rescues within the community. Staffed by passionate and smart volunteers, I have been so impressed by their dedication to education but also the way they use social media to bring awareness and accessibility to people interested in fostering (or who become interested because of them!).
