My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Code of Support Foundation, Alexandria, VA, USA
I was at at loss, and desperate. Years of trying to deal all alone with a veteran son that came home from Iraq, disabled with PTSD a TBI along with some physical injuries. Asking for help is not what I was told to do growing up. And when I did ask, the constant rejection made us feel unworthy. It was at a very low time in my life that I was connected with Goal of Support foundation. The beautiful lady Marjorie Pennington became my sons and myself advocate and guide. Without much faith from us in the beginning she never gave up. And now my son is on a path a treatment and support. From total bleakness, I now have hope of a new and better life, for my son and myself. To say we were saved just in time, is the most honest statement, I can give you. And I am just so grateful. I thank them for pulling us from the dark and becoming the closest to a family we have. The saved us. Kim Fox, mother and caregiver.
Review for Operation Ward 57, Seattle, WA, USA
Regarding Operation 57.Org. I am so grateful they were there for us. My son's PTSD and TBI caused a serious problem recently. He overspent and was short on his living expenses. Which left us short for groceries. They responded quickly and seriously saved us from ten days at the end of the month without food. We are so grateful, beyond belief! One huge worry relieved. Thank you so much. The day before we received the help a bag of popcorn was what I hate to stave off an empty belly. Thank you again and again. Kim Fox
