After a day of volunteering for A Walk on Water, I may be physically exhausted but my heart is floating on air. Spending time with this wonderful organization and the amazing people they help is so wonderful. I count myself lucky that I was introduced to AWOW and get to participate in giving back to the community in some small way.

Volunteering with JMMF has been so personally gratifying. It helps my heart soar cheering on the athletes. I adore Kris Primacio. Her positive outlook and energy is infectious. I'm lucky to be able to share my time with amazing people doing wonderful surf therapy work in our community, especially with our military personnel and veterans.

Being a volunteer for Chemocessories has helped me tremendously this past year+. The positive impact it has had on my life is significant. I'm so grateful that I met Iris and got involved. It's gratifying to see the positive impact this organization is making, on a personal level, for so many women battling cancer.

I'm honored to volunteer for Chemocessories. Knowing that I'm helping women battling cancer, even in a small way, fills me with satisfying purpose and I rest easier at night.....April McIlroy
