After deciding to adopt a rescue dog we thought we would do so locally (Ontario Canada), but after hearing about the great work Texas Chihuahua Rescue does we decided on adopting out of country. The process was very easy and any questions we had were answered in a timely manner. Once we started the adoption process we ended up falling in love with not just 1 but 2 puppies. Because the puppies were under 8 months we had to go to Buffalo to pick them up. The border crossing was so easy as the team had put together all the information that customs would need. You can tell that the puppies have been cared for and loved by all involved in helping these two find their furever home. Thanks to the foster homes , coordinators (Maureen), transport team and the Texas Chihuahua Rescue team for what you do for all dogs in need of a home.
