OCC fills the gap in our community by focusing on spaying/neutering feral and stray cats whose offspring would otherwise burden our area shelters. OCC has been working with individuals and other groups providing them with affordable and free spays/neuters along with free trap checkout. They make it easy to do the right thing.

Happy Jack Cats is among the top rescue organizations that I know about. I've never met a more dedicated, caring, compassionate group of volunteers than those who donate their time to the HJC cats and kittens. They go the extra mile to rescue felines from bad situations and spend time and dollars to get them healthy enough for adoption. By the time the kittens are ready for adoption, they have been well socialized, vaccinated, wormed, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. Equally as important, HJC screens applicants for the best possible match with an adoptive human family. HJC volunteers are always educating others in the community about the benefits of spay/neuter and proper pet care.
