What a wonderful organization really trying to make a difference in much needed spay and neuter for all cats.Their are so many cats here that really need their help and they really step up to the plate for all cats!
I have never seen such dedication as I have seen in the few years that I have been supporting Operation Community Cats. They go beyond in everything they do for the cat community in trying to give them a better life. Always willing to listen, always willing to help in anyway possible, always with the cats in their minds and in their hearts. If there is a way they will find it, they support not only the cats but the people trying to take care of the cats. They help with not only Spay and Neuter, they help with food for the colony feeders as well. I commend them in their quest for a low cost spay and neuter clinic, a place that all can afford in order to reduce the population of unwanted cats and save them from a lifetime of suffering and misery. A worthy cause to support if you can!
I am so proud of the volunteers and donors of Operation Community Cats who provide, spay, neuters, vaccines, food and medical care for homeless outside cats all at no charge.
Previous Stories
I've been involved with Operation Community Cats since its inception. We quickly got organized and raised sums of money to enable us to provide free spays and neuters for free-roaming and feral cats. We also advise people how to trap and inform them of low cost services available in the community enabling them to more easily help homeless cats. We provid traps and educate many people on trapping techniques and the importance of spaying and neutering.
I truly appreciate the people at OCC that have helped me w my cat colony. LouAnn was always available to answer questions, give trapping ideas, loan traps and ideas of spay/neuter options available to me. I believe that it is a truly caring group that are helping 1 cat at a time. I think that w their help & encouragement I finally have my group 100%. Yes! Loved the Twin Rocks story, wow. I have passed on the group name to others that may need to know.
IHS is in town for 1 reason, groups like OCC are another option.
Thank You

OCC is managed by volunteers who really want to make life better for cats in our community! They help fund spay and neuters so that Boise area stray and feral cat cats can life a healthy life and to control their population. Wonderful organization!
My experiences with OCC have been great! From trapping with me to fundraising for me to offering free and low cost spay/neuters for feral cats, this group is there for trappers, caretakers and community cats. They have also helped with medical needs and cat food for low-income caretakers. Please consider volunteering and donating to this great cause.
OCC fills the gap in our community by focusing on spaying/neutering feral and stray cats whose offspring would otherwise burden our area shelters. OCC has been working with individuals and other groups providing them with affordable and free spays/neuters along with free trap checkout. They make it easy to do the right thing.
Wow what a service to the community. They made it so easy to schedule. Clear instructions on how to deliver, pick up. Great value..terrific vet service. Absolutely simple. Also able to get an appointment much quicker than expected! Can we give them 10 stars?
We had help from Operation Community Cats in Caldwell, this is a very helpful caring group of people, they helped us get our outside cats fixed, tyvm for helping us control our outside population
2 days a month Operation Community Cats pays to spay/ neuter and vaccinate up to 35 community cats. They also have several other days scatter throughout each month where they will pay to fix a cat here and there. A great non profit fixing many feral, stray, abandoned, lost and dumped cats in Boise and areas around.
Operation Community Cats is ran by experienced people with a genuine concern for the welfare of cats. I truly appreciate the labor and education outreach they put into my community about colonies, TNR, and spay/neuter programs. They are a great resource for Idaho to have!
Many cats that we have had cross our path have been given a better chance of feral life thanks to OCC. We are grateful for them more and more with every new feral call we get.
Operation Community Cats helped our feral cat project get donated cat food to help feed our feral cats in Nyssa. They also help local cats with spay, neuter, and vet care. Very caring and helpful people!
