I have volunteered with this nonprofit for nearly three years and continue to be amazed by the level of commitment and professionalism I encounter each day. The welfare of the animals remains the number one concern for all—staff and volunteers. I witness such love for the dogs and cats at the shelter. No matter how long it takes to find each one the perfect home, the SPCA remains focused and patient.

I have adopted two dogs from Caring Hearts Rescue, so have witnessed first-hand the care they take in matching dogs and potential adoptees. Moreover, Caring Hearts readily takes on desperate cases--dogs with multiple health issues that require extensive and expensive assistance before they are ready for their new homes. I respect the love they share with animals that may be facing their last chance of happiness. And I am forever in their debt for my two adoptees, including my current Tapsi.

I have volunteered my time and services to the SPCA for over a year now and continue to be impressed with the dedication and professionalism of its staff and fellow volunteers. The animals in their care get the best medical treatment and behavioral support possible. This is a no-frills operation--the money goes to the animals and their welfare. The mission is clear--make these animals ready for and available to loving homes as quickly as possible.

I have adopted two dogs from Caring Hearts Rescue. With my current adoption, the foster mother provided detailed information on Tapsi's temperament and behavior, which was extremely helpful in acclimating her (Tapsi, that is) to my home. She was also able to pass along Tapsi's entire medical history from her prior owner.

With both adoptions, Caring Hearts was careful to match me with dogs that would thrive in my home. Both adoptions have been complete successes from my perspective. I adored Miss Honey who, sadly, passed away two years ago and am in love with my current resident. Tapsi is also a favorite in our neighborhood and has quite a large fan base in Arundel-on-the-Bay!

I've attended a number of workshops and training sessions thanks to this nonprofit. I am a better, more knowledgeable dog owner as a result. They are consistently professional and imaginative in their offerings.
