I find that Grey2K USA does a fabulous job of bringing awareness about the dismal plight of racing greyhounds to the general public who would otherwise be unaware of the ugly truth of greyhound racing. As a volunteer with greyhound rescue groups in Australia, and a greyhound adopter and foster carer, I believe we desperately need organisations like Grey2K that work with rescue groups to help end the cause of all the wastage (unwanted greyhounds) from the industry, as well as educating people on how fabulous it is to save a greyhound and give them a far better life than what they had. If it weren't for Grey2K there would be more greyhound racing, more on and off track carnage, more over-breeding of dogs, more wastage and less adoptions. Coming from the advertising industry I know full well the work and costs involved to bring information into the public eye. May they continue their great work to end greyhound racing worldwide.
