Review for Soldiers' Angels, San Antonio, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I am the CEO of MilitaryConnection.com. We are one of the most comprehensive directories of resources and information for military and veterans. We provide all of this to our users free. We also facilitate partnerships connecting corporations with outstanding non-profits. It is amazing what can be accomplished when good people join forces to help others. The best part of my job is the honor of working with many wonderful non-profits on an regular basis that put forth effort and energy to make a real difference in the lives of those who serve, past and present. I have worked with Soldiers Angels many times on many initiatives. I also constantly send them requests for assistance for military and veterans. They never say "NO". It is not in their vocabulary. I can tell you without a doubt that they are the "real deal". They work tirelessly to help military, wounded warriors, their families and veterans 24/7. They have a dedicated network of volunteers and nothing is impossible with these angels. I also want to commend Soldiers Angels and especially their founder, Patti Patton Bader, because they are team players and work well with other groups. It is not about them but about helping our military and veterans. Please feel free to contact me. I am in the position to know all the good ones/guys. Sincerely, Debbie Gregory, CEO MilitaryConnection.com debbieg@militaryconnection.com http://www.militaryconnection.com 800-817-3777,ext. 124

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

in the faces and emails of those they serve on numerous occasions.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Bring best practices and bring on board a top Executive to make them even more effective.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

They are the real-deal and they never say "No". Nothing is impossible when it comes to helping those who serve, past and present.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Compassionate - they have a network of over 100,000 volunteers.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Do more and would do more

Ways to make it better...

If I could have been there personally.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Like everyone else, resources and raising money.

One thing I'd also say is that...

They are part of the solution.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every month

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2010
