Review for Soldiers' Angels, San Antonio, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I've volunteered with Soldiers' Angels for nearly eight years. It gives me a chance to give back and help make someone's days a little better, which can make all the difference. Soldiers' Angels provides opportunities that I can work around my schedule, and they support volunteers well.

I've volunteered with Soldiers' Angels since 2013. I believe we do little things that make a big difference. Most of the volunteer work can be done around my schedule, which helps a lot, as I have a full-time job. This is an organization and work I believe in.

I started with Soldiers' Angels about five years ago. I like the mission and how it lets me reach out person-to-person, rather than just writing a check. I also believe in the mission of supporting military personnel, veterans and their families, and letting them know they're appreciated and remembered. Leaders work hard to let volunteers know they're appreciated, too, and there's a network for getting questions answered.

I've enjoyed the time and effort I've put into Soldiers' Angels. I feel like I'm making a difference, even if it's just brightening someone's day a little. The people I support may or may not respond back to me, but I'd still like to think it matters to them. There's also a lot of support from the organization if I have questions. You do need to spend your own money, but there are a lot of ways to contribute to fit different people's budgets, and volunteers share ideas to keep costs lower.
