Review for Aids Service Center Of Lower Manhattan Inc, New York, NY, USA

Rating: 5 stars

AID Service Center on NYC is inspiring, especially the way that they help people with AIDS and other chronic illnesses stay healthy and independent with self-respect. Their Peer Leader program is exceptional with so many 'survive and thrive' success stories. They are truly a social change agency - creating a positive difference in lives and communities.

I have been a workshop participant, advisor, and a volunteer trainer at the Support Center/Partnership in Philanthropy, and love that there is a nonprofit committed to developing the staff and Boards of NYC's nonprofits. Their interim executive leadership course is improving nonprofit management and has had a positive impact on my career.

So thrilled that this Canadian nonprofit is in NYC. They are reducing and eliminating violence in the lives youth. It started by using photography, but has grown into other mediums. Love how they are creating a safe space and a voice to teens.
